Job Description

A high growth, US based, venture backed, online travel company seeks an experienced and professional Email Marketing Manager to lead existing email marketing efforts and execute future strategy.

1) Responsible for building and sending various email campaigns using GroupMail and other email marketing software.

2) Track all delivery metrics related to email campaigns and build reports for upper management.

3) Ability to create effective marketing campaigns using creativity and an excellent writing ability.

4) Landscape and survey the industry for tracking industry trends in email marketing.

5) Familiarity with compliance standards (CAN-SPAM Act)

6) Manage email lists for the organization including opt-in, opt-outs.

7) Evaluate and recommend email software vendors.

8 ) Manage internal ads on network websites through tools like Ad Server.

9) Maintenance of PPC campaigns at Google Adwords, Yahoo SEM and MSN Adcenter.

Desired Candidate Profile

1) MBA in marketing preferred.

2) 3-5 yrs of previous online marketing experience required.

3) Extensive experience of working with group mailing software and managing email lists.

4) Experience managing high search volume PPC campaigns at Google Adwords, Yahoo SEM and MSN Adcenter.

5) Excellent organizational and management skills

6) Work independently under minimal supervision
